Meet our Staff

Dr. Marc Rucquoi, MD, FAAFP

Dr. Rucquoi graduated from the University Of Vermont College Of Medicine, in Burlington, Vermont. He completed his residency training in Family Medicine at Self Regional Healthcare, in Greenwood, South Carolina.

One of Dr. Rucquoi's clinical interests is screening and prevention of colon cancer. He pursued his endoscopy training through the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). In 2005 he was invited to speak at the South Carolina Academy of Family Physicians Summer Assembly, helping raise physician awareness about one of the few preventable cancers.

The Rucquois welcomed Noah Ames this past July, their first child. In addition to keeping up with Noahs diapers, the family enjoys kayaking, boating and hikes with their dog, Lucy.

Dr. Rucquoi is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Physicians, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP).

Elizabeth York, MD, FAAFP

Dr. York is board certified in family medicine and offers over 20 years of healthcare experience. She comes to us from Columbia Medical Center of Columbia NC, where she served as Medical Director for twelve years. Dr. York has four children, Erin, Michael, Colleen, and Mary Elizabeth and she enjoys swimming, traveling, and playing tennis in her free time.

Dr. York is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Physicians, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP).

Tracey Respess, FNP-C

Tracey Respess has 10 years of clinical nursing experience in critical care and emergency medicine. She obtained her Master of Science degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner through East Carolina University.
