Chocowinity Family Care will be closing for construction on Friday, August 24th after 12:00 pm. We will re-open on Thursday, September 6th.

Growing Pains!

Chocowinity Family Care is going through a building renovation that is scheduled to be completed mid September 2007. During this time we ask your patience with parking and some anticipated construction noise. We're adding 2500 square feet to the facility, improving lab facilities, office space and adding more exam rooms. Our procedure room is being expanded as well as the patient waiting area. In addition, the facility is being equipped with a generator, so that care can still be provided in the event of power loss.

Chocowinity Family Care

Chocowinity Family Care is a division of Beaufort County Hospital. Established in January 2003, the practice was the first to open in Chocowinity’s history. Prior to 2003, patients were required to make the trip to Washington, crossing the Pamlico river. Occasionally, when major flooding occurred, the residents of Chocowinity would be cut off from medical care. Our practice is dedicated to the healthcare needs of your entire family – from newborn to seniors. We offer flexible office hours, including urgent care appointments – even when it rains…
